SupportWarning Signs
An important way to prevent suicide is learning the warning signs.
These can manifest themselves in different ways, but some things to look for are:
  • disrupted sleep patterns
  • isolation
  • losing interest in work or school
  • depression or other mental illness
  • talking about suicide
If you believe that you or someone you know is about to attempt suicide, call 9-1-1 or 1-408-354-8600 for emergency services or tell a trusted adult to do so.
There are resources and support services available to help you or the individual.
