West Valley Solid Waste Management Joint Powers Agency (JPA) Board of Directors
The West Valley Solid Waste Management Joint Powers Agency (JPA) Board of Directors reviews issues related to the solid waste management franchise, disposal, recycling, and yard waste agreement for the communities of Los Gatos, Saratoga, Monte Sereo, and Campbell. All of the west valley cities contract for solid waste collection and disposal services through the JPA. The current solid waste provider is
West Valley Collection and Recycling.
Meeting Time:The West Valley Solid Waste Management JPA are meets on the 1st Thursday during the months of February, May, August and November at 5:00 p.m., at Monte Sereno City Hall, 18041 Saratoga Los Gatos Rd. Please contact the Board Director for an agenda or meeting schedule.

Bay Area Employee Relations Service (BAERS)The
Bay Area Employee Relations Service is a Joint Powers Agency consisting of city, county, and other government entities in the San Francisco Bay Area. The purpose of BAERS is to provide a mechanism whereby Bay Area government agencies and their human resources professionals can share information used to support activities, such as labor negotiations, position/classification studies and compensation and benefit policy reviews.
Meeting Time:Meeting times vary and are publicly posted 72 hours in advance of a scheduled meeting in accordance with the Ralph M. Brown Act. Please contact the BAERS Director for an agenda or meeting schedule.

West Valley Sanitation District Board of DirectorsWest Valley Sanitation District of Santa Clara County serves the cities of Campbell, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, Saratoga, and portions of the unincorporated areas in the West Valley. The District is governed by a five-member Board of Directors, comprised of one member from each of the four cities served by the District, and a County Supervisor.
Meeting Time:The Board meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month (varies) at 6:00 p.m. at the West Valley Sanitation District, located at 100 E. Sunnyoaks Avenue in Campbell. Please contact the Board for an agenda and meeting schedule.
