Beach Season (and Traffic) is Here

As the summer weather arrives, so too does the summer beach traffic. Since Highway 17 has limited capacity, many motorists attempt to save time by using alternate routes through Town and the mapping apps have not helped.

Overnight Roadwork on Los Gatos Boulevard: June 27 - July 2 & July 5 - 9

Please be advised that the North 40's project contractor will be performing important roadwork overnight on northbound Los Gatos Boulevard between Lark Avenue and Walker Street on June 27 - July 2 and July 5 - 9, 2022.

Working hours are from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Thank you for your patience while the work is in progress.

Town Council to Continue Review of Draft 2040 General Plan on June 30, 2022

The Town Council will hold a Special Meeting on Thursday, June 30, at 7:00 p.m., via teleconference, to continue review of the Planning Commission's recommendations on the Draft 2040 General Plan and Final Environmental Impact Report.

Adopt-A-Highway Training - July 5

Want to help keep Los Gatos beautiful?! Join our upcoming Adopt-A-Highway training on Tuesday, July 5th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at 41 Miles Avenue and volunteer to pick up trash monthly and keep our Town entrances looking pristine!

Lane Closures on State Route 9 in Monte Sereno: June 15 - August

The California Department of Transportation (CalTrans) will perform daytime closures at the intersection of State Route 9 and Austin Way, in the City of Monte Sereno in order to safely construct the Bike Safety Improvement Project.

Lane closures begin June 15 and are scheduled to be complete by August 2022. Lane closures will be northbound and southbound Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
