Parklet Discussion at January 18 Town Council Meeting

The Town Council will be discussing the downtown semi-permanent parklet program at their next meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, January 18 at 7:00 p.m., via Zoom teleconference.

Topics to be considered include:

  • Extension of K Rail parklets beyond January 31 to allow for construction to begin on semi-permanent parklets;
  • Programming for public parklet areas; and
  • Placemaking options for Grays Lane.

San Jose Water Project at Belgatos Park: January 12 - 22

San Jose Water will be restoring the access road to their Belgatos storage tanks from January 12 - 22, 2022.

The Belgatos access road from the bottom of Belgatos park to the storage tanks will be temporary closed during this time.

All trails leading to the access road will have signs regarding the temporary closure. Please use alternate routes accordingly. 

Belgatos Park will remain open during this project.

Request for Proposals: Transportation Impact Fee Study

The Town is requesting proposals from qualified firms to prepare a Transportation Impact Fee Study to develop a Transportation Impact Fee Program.

The recommended program will be presented to the Town Council for its consideration. If adopted, the Transportation Impact Fee Program will replace the Town’s current Traffic Impact Mitigation Fees.
