Celebrate Spring into Green with the Town of Los Gatos! Sunday, April 24, 2016, 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
On Sunday April 24th from 10:00 am-1:00 pm the Town will be hosting Spring into Green, a sustainability event to celebrate Earth Day, Arbor Day, and Keep Los Gatos Beautiful Month at the Town Plaza.
Environmental vendors and partners from the local community will host interactive booths, including:
- West Valley Clean Water Program
- West Valley Collection & Recycling
- Santa Clara Valley Water District, Parks Commission
- Happy Hollow Park & Zoo
- Santa Clara County Parks
- Beautification Committee
- PG&E Vegetation Program
- Lick Observatory, and more!
This is a family friendly event, with free interactive activities for all ages including face painting, a photo booth, a rock climbing wall, and a live band. The event will take place in conjunction with the Town’s weekly Farmer’s Market to promote eating & buying locally.
The purpose of this event is to celebrate the Town’s environmental consciousness, learn about sustainability, and collect feedback from residents regarding green issues in Town. See you there!
