Join us for Wonderful Ones Storytime in the Children's Room every Thursday at 11 am! We will sing, move, and read together as we work on developing our early literacy skills while also building community connections. This program is specifically intended for the developmental stages of one year olds but concepts can be transferred to similar ages.
For ages 7 only: Join Librarian Robert in the Children's Room and learn to knit! Learn the basic skills to get started on a simple project and practice your stitching.
It's Building Safety Month! Join us on May 11, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. to learn more about building safety and how to be prepared if disaster strikes! This interactive lesson will teach your kids and you about Family Emergency Planning and Safety Kits to help you be more prepared should a disaster, such as a fire, earthquake, or flooding occur. Together, you and your child(ren) will get to draw your own emergency exit map and learn what you need to have in your safety kit(s)! The Los Gatos Library has partnered with @GirlsWhoCode to create a club meant for people ages 12-18 to learn to code and change the world! "What will I Learn? Our middle and high school Clubs encourage you to impact the community in a positive way through code. In order to build the skills you need to make an impact, you will learn how to code from our fun online tutorials and activities that will help you build animations, games, apps, and other things that you dream up! Join us the 2nd Thursday of every month for our Spanish Book Club "El Cafecito" from 5- 6PM in our library's conference room in the fireplace room. Books will be provided as well as a lively discussion.
