We will sing, move, and read together as we work on developing our early literacy skills while also building community connections. This program is specifically intended for the developmental stages of one year olds but concepts can be transferred to similar ages.

    (Recommended for readers ages 5 ) Pair up with a therapy dog, the perfect reading buddy, choose a book from our shelves in the Children’s Room, and read aloud to a quiet, furry friend. This program provides the right environment for young readers to gain confidence in their reading skills, next to a non-judgmental dog friend. All dogs are certified therapy animals.

    The Los Gatos Library has partnered with @GirlsWhoCode to create a club meant for people ages 12-18 to learn to code and change the world! "What will I Learn? Our middle and high school Clubs encourage you to impact the community in a positive way through code. In order to build the skills you need to make an impact, you will learn how to code from our fun online tutorials and activities that will help you build animations, games, apps, and other things that you dream up!
