Art Sumbmissions for Fall are OPEN! Last Quarter's Art Submissions were stunning! Thank you to all who participated! We are once again excited to decorate our beautifully curated adult fiction area with art from YOU, our patrons! Do you want to take part in this opportunity? Tell us what you would like to paint! If your art submission is accepted, your art will hang in our Adult Fiction area for everyone to see for a couple months! For an example of what that will look like, please see the photos down below, from the last submission. We will accept applications on a rolling basis for the next few months. You will hear back from us regarding whether your application has been accepted. The Library will provide a canvas for each selected artist along with further details on how to proceed! THE ART: This Quarter's Art theme is COMMUNITY! Please draw, paint, or craft an image that to you represents the coming together of books/reading and COMMUNITY. We are especially looking for diverse characters/books, as we aim to represent many different cultures, abilities, and identities on our beautiful library walls. After all, isn't that part of community? Submit your idea for your painting in the online application below before March 15th. The artist must be: - 18 years or older - A Los Gatos Library card holder (It is VERY easy to get a library card with us!) Thank you! We look forward to the submission! :) Click here!
