Los Gatos Library Comfort Cabinet
The Los Gatos Library has a Care Cabinet stocked with snacks, toiletries and small essential items. Supplies in the cabinet are free and available during the Library’s open hours. 100 Villa Ave, (408) 354-6891 Email: library@losgatosca.gov
WVCS Food Market
The West Valley Community Services Food Market provides a wide selection of foods to families who are experiencing food insecurities. The Park-It Market Mobile Food Truck is in the Library Lot the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month from 10-11:15 AM, and WVCS staffers will help you get signed up for services.
St. Luke's Pantry
The St Luke’s Pantry is an outreach program hosted by St Luke’s Episcopal Church to serve unhoused members of the Los Gatos community. The pantry is open in the Parish Hall at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday mornings to provide food, companionship and clothing. 20 University Ave, LG office@stlukeslg.org (408) 354-2195
Live Oak Senior Nutrition Center
The Live Oak Senior Nutrition Center serves the senior community aged 60+, and provides a welcoming place for seniors to socialize. They offer free hot and cold lunches Monday to Friday. They provide open table groceries three days a week. 111 Church St, LG (408) 354-4730
SHELTER & RENTAL ASSISTANCE
Here4U Call Center
The Here4You Call Center hotline is designed to centralize referrals for clients needing temporary shelter in Santa Clara County. Call (408) 385-2400, seven days a week 9 AM -7 PM
Los Gatos Anti Racism Coalition Rental Assistance
The LGARC Rental Assistance program provides up to $500 of rapid rental assistance to individuals and families. Email antiracism.lg@gmail.com with a brief explanation of your circumstances to get started.
WVCS Financial Assistance
West Valley Community Services offers emergency financial assistance to prevent evictions and utility cutoffs. WVCS also offers assistance for transportation, clothing, and other basic needs based on eligibility and availability of resources. SHOWERS & LAUNDRY
LGUMS Shower Ministry
Showers are available at the Los Gatos United Methodist Church every Thursday from 2-3:30 pm, please arrive by 2:30 pm. Every client receives access to a shower and restroom, all necessary shower supplies, new socks and underwear and a bag lunch. Laundry vouchers to a local laundromat are given out every other week. 111 Church St, LG downstairs in Student Center (408) 354-4730
SERVICES
Los Gatos Library
Check out a laptop from the Los Gatos Library. The Wi-Fi is free, sign in to TLG Public, no password required. You are welcome in the building, or use the Wi-Fi on the front porch after hours. The Library is open seven days a week from 10 am - 6 pm. Tuesday afternoons, we offer free, walk in tech help. 100 Villa Ave, LG (408) 354-6891
Behavioral Health Navigators
The Behavioral Health Navigators will help connect individuals and families to County and community resources, and guide them through the behavioral health system. Find a Navigator at the Los Gatos Library on Tuesdays from 10 - 3 PM. 100 Villa Ave, LG or call (800) 704-0900, choose option 4.
Bill Wilson Center
Bill Wilson Center provides services to more than 5,000 children, youth, young adults and families in Santa Clara County through our various programs. Bill Wilson Center programs focus on housing, education, counseling, and advocacy. Call (408) 243-0222 for a wide range of services.
TRANSPORTATION
WVCS RYDE program (for seniors)
RYDE is a curb-to-curb transportation service for ambulatory adults 65+ residing in Campbell, Cupertino, Saratoga, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, Morgan Hill, and parts of San Jose RYDE can be used for visits with friends, shopping, and appointments RYDE fees are fixed, based on the number of miles you travel to a destination.
