Preventing Underage Drinking While Promoting Healthy Norms
The Town of Los Gatos, Los Gatos Union School District, and Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District have partnered with the Montana institute on a campaign to prevent underage drinking while promoting healthy norms. The Montana Institute is an organization dedicated to preventing youth alcohol abuse and the partnership includes workshops, surveys, and training.
The campaign was kicked off with a virtual workshop for students and parents on February 1, 2023 regarding preventing underage drinking. Senior Trainer Jason Anderson of the Montana Institute led the workshop focused on increasing healthy attitudes and behaviors and transforming students' thinking about issues such as substance abuse, underage drinking, and more.
