The North 40 Specific Plan Area is approximately 44 acres and is bounded by Highway 85 on the north, Lark Avenue on the south, Highway 17 on the west, and Los Gatos Boulevard on the east.

Tree Relocation Program
The approval of the Phase I applications for the North 40 required that the trees proposed to be removed shall be offered to community members for transplant and/or use of the tree or materials at the community members’ cost. The Tree Relocation Program will end on July 8, 2018. Information regarding a Tree Assessment Plan is now available. North 40 Phase I
Phase 1 proposes development on the southern half of the Specific Plan Area. Phase 1 development applications includes 320 residential units, of which 50 units would be affordable senior units; approximately 66,000 square feet of commercial space with a market hall, as well as on-site and off-site improvements.
