The Community Development Department includes the Planning Division, Building Division, and Code Compliance Division. We are located at 110 E. Main Street on the corner of Fiesta Way and E. Main Street in Downtown Los Gatos. Public drop-in counter hours are Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 1 PM. Planners may be available by appointment during non-counter hours by calling (408) 354-6874. The Los Gatos Town Council certified the Environmental Impact Report and adopted the 2040 General Plan on June 30, 2022.
On April 2, 2024, the Town Council voted to rescind the 2040 Land Use Element and 2040 Community Design Element. Please reference the 2020 Land Use Element and 2020 Community Design Element.
