TOWN OF LOS GATOS
SUBJECT: A DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT (DEIR) HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AND IS ON FILE IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT AT 110 E. MAIN STREET.


PROJECT LOCATION:
The 36-acre site is north of Shannon Road, east of Short Road, and south of Blossom Hill Road and is surrounded by hillside residential and open space. Access to the project site is provided from Santella Drive. Assessor’s Parcel No. 527-12-002.

Requesting approval to re-zone a property zoned HR-2½ to HR-2½:PD and to subdivide one lot into eight lots on property zoned HR-2½. APN 527-12-002.

The DEIR is available for review at the reference desk in the Los Gatos Town Library, located at 100 Villa Avenue; the Community Development Department and Clerk Department, both located at 110 E. Main Street; and on the official Town of Los Gatos website at www.losgatosca.gov/16100GreenridgeTerrace.

Public comments must be made within 45 days of the date of this notice, no later than 5:00 p.m. October 29, 2018.  A public hearing to receive comments on the DEIR is scheduled on October 24, 2018, in the Town Council Chambers located at 110 E. Main Street.

Information concerning the above application is on file in the Community Development Department at 110 E. Main Street, and available for public inspection during regular public counter hours 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; and the Town Library, 100 Villa Avenue, during regular business hours.

The staff report to the Planning Commission will be available for public review three days prior to the meeting in the Community Development Department from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Town Clerk’s Office from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and the Town Library, during regular business hours; and on the Town’s website at www.losgatosca.gov.

All persons interested in said application are encouraged to appear at the public hearing and be heard. If anyone wishes to challenge the action on the above applications in court, they may be limited to raising only those issues they or anyone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing. Deadline for all written correspondence is 11:00 a.m. the day of the meeting.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
DATE: TUESDAY, OCTOBER 30, 2018

LOCATION: COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 110 EAST MAIN STREET


General Plan Update - The Town is preparing to begin the update of the 2020 General Plan and invites the public to participate in the process. The Town’s General Plan acts as the constitution for development, the foundation upon which all land use decisions are to be based. This meeting is being held to provide an opportunity for the public and the General Plan Update Advisory Committee to discuss the General Plan update, and major elements of the work plan, key priorities, and process elements.

Information concerning the General Plan update is on file in the Community Development Department at 110 E. Main Street, and available for public inspection during regular public counter hours 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; and the Town Library, 100 Villa Avenue, during regular business hours.

The agenda and report for the General Plan Update Advisory Committee meeting will be available for public review on the Friday prior to the meeting in the Community Development Department from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Town Clerk’s Office from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and the Town Library, during regular business hours; and on the Town’s website at www.losgatosca.gov.
