SUBJECT: INTRODUCTION AND FIRST READING OF ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AMENDING CHAPTER 25 TO CHANGE THE TITLE TO “REVENUE AND TAXATION” AND ADDING CHAPTER 25, ARTICLE VII, SECTIONS 25.70.010-25.70.140 OF THE LOS GATOS TOWN CODE ENTITLED PUBLIC ART FUNDING (SUMMARIZED)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos has scheduled a public hearing for Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Council Chamber, Civic Center, 110 E. Main Street, Los Gatos, to consider adopting amendments to the Town Code: Introduction of an Ordinance of the Town of Los Gatos Amending Chapter 25 to Change the Title to “Revenue and Taxation” and Adding Chapter 25, Article VII, Sections 25.70.010- 25.70.140 of the Los Gatos Town Code Entitled Public Art Funding. The purpose of this additional Article is to establish a public art requirement for private developments and to authorize the Town Manager to establish regulations and guidelines to effectuate the intent of this Article.

This meeting will be conducted utilizing teleconferencing and electronic means consistent with State of California Executive Order N-29-20 dated March 17, 2020, regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. The live stream of the meeting may be viewed on television and/or online at www.LosGatosCA.gov/TownYouTube. In accordance with Executive Order N-29-20, the public may only view the meeting on television and/or online and not in the Council Chamber. A complete copy of the ordinance is available in the Clerk Department, 110 E. Main Street, Los Gatos, California. All interested parties are invited to attend and be heard. If you wish to challenge the action of the Town Council in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Town of Los Gatos Town Hall at, or prior to, the public hearing.
